Applications to the Green Infrastructure Community Engagement Fund

Round 1 of the Green Infrastructure Community Engagement Fund has now closed - 7 applications were received and are now being assessed. We plan to run a second round later this year. Further details will be confirmed in due course.

Following the announcement of the successful Round 2 projects on 22 March, the Green Infrastructure Team is meeting with the successful project teams.  On Thursday, Iain Rennick, Head of the Green Infrastructure Fund team and Elana Bader, GI Project & Funding Officer, met with Southside Housing Association in Glasgow to get their project underway.

The Green Infrastructure Fund and Community Engagement Fund give priority to projects in the 15% most deprived areas of Scotland. It is important for applicants to use the most up-to-date rankings and information in their application and for baseline monitoring.

Transport Scotland’s Low Carbon Travel and Transport Challenge Fund is now open for applications. Energy Saving Trust has been appointed by Transport Scotland to administer the Fund on their behalf.

Transport Scotland announced today that 39 projects across Scotland will benefit from Pre-Application Support Fund (PASF) grant of up to £10,000 to help develop ideas for active travel hubs and low carbon transport hubs, in the run up to the launch of our ERDF 2014-20 Low Carbon Travel and Transport fund later this year.
